Part 1 - Warm Up
'Clean Up The Yard'
2 x teams.
Teams must stay in their designated playing half. Tennis/Lacrosse balls will be scattered amongst the area. The idea is for teams to 'flick' the balls into the oppositions area. Balls cannot be scooped and thrown. At the end of time, the team with the most balls in their field loses.

Part 2 - Skill Progression/Development
'Face-Off'
- 2 players ‘face-off’ as if to start a game, 3rd player acts as an official. Players must be crouched down, sticks parallel with half way line.
- Ball must be on the ground, as does both players hands and their whole stick also
- On command students try to win the ball by either dragging, moving or scooping it towards themselves or teammates
Modifications:
- Add team mates to act as an extra defender or to look to pass to to score.

'Shooting at Target'
In small groups, practice shooting at targets!
Modifications:
- increase/decrease distance from target
- utilising underhand or behind the back throwing
- with a partner feeding the ball 'quick sticks' to catch and then shoot on goal (similar to hot potato, cannot have the ball in your stick for longer than a second)
